Über das Werk

»Liminal« zeigt eine Figur in einem hellen, fließenden Kleid vor tiefdunklem Grund. Die Hände sind zum Gesicht erhoben, die Bewegung verwischt — Kontur und Züge lösen sich auf, während der Stoff Licht hält. Das Bild fasst den Moment zwischen zwei Zuständen; der Titel benennt genau diese Schwelle.

Janine Kühn ist eine in Berlin lebende Fotografin und interdisziplinäre Künstlerin. Ihre Arbeiten verbinden Fotografie mit digitaler Bearbeitung, Malerei und KI-gestützten Prozessen. Ihre Editionen werden unter anderem über LUMAS vertrieben.

  • Glazing: UV70 anti reflective museum glass included up to 30 × 40 cm, larger sizes receive 2 mm acrylic glazing.

  • Backing: Acid free, conservation quality materials for long term protection of the artwork.

  • Frame: Made exclusively from FSC certified woods or upcycled wood sourced directly from Berlin. All frames are handmade in Berlin.

  • Hanging system: Every frame comes ready to hang.
  • Production time: Depending on the product, between 4 and 10 business days.

  • Shipping costs: Depending on weight, between €5.90 and €8.95 within Germany. EU shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

  • Tracking: You will receive a tracking link once your order has been shipped.

  • Uncollected packages: A return fee equal to the shipping costs may apply.

  • Damaged delivery: Please send photos of the frame and packaging to frameit@frameworksberlin.com. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

  • Returns: You have 14 days to return your frame if you are not satisfied.

  • Return shipping: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Refunds are issued once the item has arrived back undamaged.
