Gallery Frames

Gallery Frames: the picture frame for the moment when good art deserves an equally good frame. Handcrafted from solid wood, with a corner joint you usually only find in specialist framing workshops.

Solid wood with spline corner joints

Every corner is joined with a visible spline, an inset strip of wood that reinforces the mitre from within and adds a deliberate design detail. The spline always contrasts with the frame, either in a different wood tone or, on the two special maple editions, in a strong colour:

Walnut frame · maple spline
Cherry frame · walnut spline
Oak frame · walnut spline
Maple frame · walnut spline
Maple frame · blue spline
Maple frame · orange spline

This technique takes more work than a simple glued mitre, but it makes the frame noticeably stronger and longer-lasting. For us, it is the difference between an off-the-shelf frame and one that keeps its promise.

Six options

Cherry · Oak · Maple · Walnut · Maple with blue spline · Maple with orange spline
Each wood shows its own grain and depth of colour, from light and warm (maple) to strong and dark (walnut, cherry). On the two special editions, light maple meets a colour-stained spline. All woods are FSC-certified.

Always included

Every Gallery Frame comes with anti-reflective glass and a backing board as standard: no hidden extras, no surcharge. Ready to hang: all frames come with a hanger to attach, except the Snap-Back version, where the hanging rail is already built into the inner frame.

Inner frame with Snap-Back function

Available as an option: an inner frame with a Snap-Back mechanism. It adds stability and makes the frame more versatile. Pictures are easy to change without taking the frame apart, and the built-in hanging rail means no extra mounting is needed. The better choice for anyone who wants to use their frame for a long time and change what is in it.

Who is this frame for?

For anyone who wants a picture frame that feels like a considered purchase, not a compromise. Suited to posters, fine art prints, photographs and anything that deserves a frame as carefully thought out as what it holds.
