The Art Fair, the Community, the Mission! Why was Frameworks at Paper Positions 2026?

Frameworks partnered with POSITIONS Berlin for the second year in a row. Inside the main hall of Tempelhof Airport (very cool) were 70 international galleries showing drawings, collages, photographs, artist books, and experimental works on paper.

And we were there to Frame_It!

Frameworks Berlin GmbH is a necessary part of the process, not only the galleries but the clientele. The frame is vital to protect and beautify. We framed on-site, repaired artworks that had fallen down in the frames, and sold frames for newly purchased paperworks.

Frameworks has historically supported artists in many ways, but one of my guilty pleasures 🍭 is buying pieces from local artist, thus reinvesting into the very community that give us business. This year, we also sponsored frames at Academy Positions for the HEUSSEN Perspectives Award exhibition. This event is focused on young emerging artists and has supported over 100 young artists since 2017. Another example of how Frameworks is aligned with POSITIONS Berlin ; promoting and supporting artist communities.

A massive thanks to the entire Positions team for ten years of dedication to this medium. And to every gallery, artist, and visitor who made it to this edition. The art world runs on paper. Frameworks (and ArtFramers.com) promises to protect it.
